GDPR and data processing agreement
Last updated October 2026.
In short
When we set up an AI agent for you, it happens in your own accounts. You approve it before anything is sent. We sign a data processing agreement with you before we start. Enquiries and customer details are deleted within 12 months of the last contact, or of the customer relationship ending. Invoices and accounting records are kept for five years.
Where the data lives
The setup is done in the accounts you already use. That is the same arrangement described under “A setup in your accounts” in the privacy notice. Email, calendar and documents stay there. The agent provider you choose processes the information under your own agreement with that provider.
Fjellhøy does not copy or store your email or documents beyond what the setup requires. Access is removed when setup is finished, or when the follow-up ends.
The website, and email sent to us, are described in the privacy notice. That page also says who is the controller for fjellhoy.com, and how enquiries to us are handled.
You approve it before anything is sent
The agent writes drafts. It does not send email, pay anything, or delete anything until you have said yes. The same goes for a reminder about missing documents and a payment reminder. You read it, change what needs changing, and decide what goes out.
A data processing agreement before we start
We sign a data processing agreement with you before we start. The agreement covers the work Fjellhøy does with personal data in order to set the agent up and follow it up. Nothing starts before it is signed.
The audit trail, access and where data is stored are described on Security Questions.
The agreement is part of getting started. It is not a certification, and it is not a guarantee that everything you use the agent for has been reviewed as a legal question. You still decide what is sent, and you hold the agreement with the agent provider you choose.
Deletion
Email enquiries that do not become a customer relationship are deleted within 12 months of the last contact. The privacy notice says the same.
When you are a customer, we record name, contact details, company details and notes about needs, setup and agreements in a customer register. The information is stored for as long as the customer relationship lasts, and is deleted within 12 months of it ending.
Invoices and accounting records are kept for five years under the Norwegian Bookkeeping Act.
What we do not promise
Fjellhøy is not certified under a GDPR scheme, and we give no legal guarantee. This page describes how the setup actually works: in your accounts, with your approval, and with a data processing agreement before we start. Questions about what your own business is responsible for belong with an accountant or a lawyer when that is what you need.
